England gave chasing 230 a real go and could have easily won the game had just one player been able to support Liam Livingstone for a longer time. The power and destructive nature of the batting lineup were on show in the first match.

England had 9 sixes inside the first ten overs and was easily going to at 12 runs an over. It kept losing wickets but did not slow down. It ended up with 14 sixes in the inning and even though it did not win the match, it had more big hits than Pakistan.

Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, and Liam Livingstone were brilliant in the previous match. Dawid Malan, Moeen Ali, and Eoin Morgan were not as good and will need to improve their performances. Babar Azam is one of the best batsmen in the world right now and he showed just why once more. He is so elegant and easy on the eyes when he is in full flow that you never even realize how fast he is scoring. His partnership with Mohammad Rizwan added 150 runs before Rizwan got out. It was the second-highest T20 partnership for Pakistan in history.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are in fantastic form but it was also good to see Fakhar Zaman, Sohaib Maqsood, and Mohammad Hafeez bat in an aggressive manner from the very first ball. This is the kind of modern cricket that Pakistan has been missing in the previous few matches.

It will be interesting to see whether Pakistan is still able to continue with the attacking style of cricket if Babar or Rizwan gets out early.

Pakistan’s batting was phenomenal in the previous match but we think it will struggle to replicate this kind of performance. It is not a team that hits sixes naturally and is more of a boundary-hitting side. The opening partnership is its strongest point and you can bet on another good performance from Babar and Rizwan.

Shaheen Afridi bowled well but got away with a few full-tosses that he may not have otherwise done so. Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, and Shadab Khan were all impressive under some tremendous pressure. Pakistan’s bowling is excellent on most days and will only get better if Hasan Ali makes a comeback into the team.

ENG VS PAK TOSS PREDICTION
The team that wins the toss is going to want to field first. Headingley is another very high-scoring venue in T20 cricket and teams will prefer knowing what their target is.

PITCH AND CONDITIONS
The weather forecast for this match is excellent and we should have no trouble getting a complete game in. the pitch at Headingley is flat and the boundaries are once again on the smaller side. This venue is consistently one of the higher scoring ones in the T20 Blast and so the same can be expected for this match.

A score of around 200 is something that teams batting first will be aiming for as the minimum once again.
